MEST4 Preliminary exercise: evaluation

1) Why did you choose this particular recreation and how does it link to your main production?

I picked this recreation as it links to my critical investigation task and the reality TV genre well. It also features Kim Kardashian who is one of the most famous reality TV stars.

2) What difficulties did you face in producing this recreation?

I struggled to get the same font/text and it was also difficult to read some of the smaller text so I didn't end up including it. 

3) What are the strengths of the production?

I believe the strengths would be the central images as they look very similar and the layout also shares a lot of resemblance.

4) What lessons will you take from this process that will help you with your main production?

The main lesson I will take is to ensure I use the correct font as it is vital in order to make it appear like a reality TV magazine.

6) Now that you are ready to start your actual linked production, explain clearly what you will be creating and how confident you are in delivering this.

I will be creating a a magazine front cover the reality TV genre and then I will be featuring a double page spread which talks about a new Reality TV show and another double page spread talking about how women are represented in reality TV.
